Yuva Career Club: Educational Programmes in Coordination with Colleges and Institutions
Educational institutions provide an important environment for students to learn, develop skills and explore future career options. Career guidance programmes conducted through colleges and educational institutions can help students receive information about competitive examinations, employment, professional courses and other opportunities. Yuva Career Club (YCC), based in Nagpur, Maharashtra, works with colleges and educational institutions to implement educational and career-oriented programmes.
Established on 1 January 2015, Yuva Career Club works in education, career guidance, competitive examinations, employment information, military recruitment, skill development, Constitution awareness and digital learning.
Coordination with Educational Institutions
YCC works with colleges and educational institutions for the implementation of its student-focused programmes. Institutional coordinators facilitate communication between participating institutions, students and the organization.
This coordination can help organize educational activities in a structured manner. Institutions can communicate programme information to students, while YCC can provide educational and career-related resources for participating learners.
Institutional coordination is particularly relevant for programmes involving larger groups of students, where communication and participation need to be managed across different classes or departments.
Career Guidance Programmes
Career guidance is one of the organization’s major areas of work. Yuva Career Club provides educational programmes and guidance related to NEET, JEE, NDA and UPSC.
These examinations represent different educational and professional pathways. Students require information about eligibility, preparation, examination procedures and possible career routes.
Through institutional programmes, such information can be introduced to students within their educational environment.
Professional and Expert Interactions
Yuva Career Club has organized student-oriented interactions involving professionals and senior officials from different fields. These have included IAS, IPS, IRS and IFS officers, judges, senior Army officers and subject experts.
Such interactions provide students with an opportunity to learn about professional careers and public service. They can also help students understand the relationship between education, competitive examinations and professional responsibilities.
For colleges and educational institutions, expert interaction programmes can supplement classroom learning with career-oriented exposure.
Government-Related Programmes
YCC has also conducted various educational and career-oriented programmes in coordination and collaboration with departments of the Government of Maharashtra.
One example is the “Constitution Awareness Prashnamanjusha,” organized in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra. Approximately 17,000 students participated in the initiative.
Students were first provided with online education and guidance related to the Constitution and then participated in a Constitution-based quiz. The assessment used digital methods, including AI-based proctored examination technology.
Digital Learning for Institutions
Digital education is an important part of YCC’s programme structure. Its digital facilities include online classes, study materials, notes, practice papers, doubt-solving support and online practice examinations.
Some selected programmes incorporate AI-based proctored practice tests. Such systems provide a technology-supported environment for conducting online assessments.
Digital learning can also make educational programmes accessible to students beyond a single classroom or physical location.
Employment and Skill Development
Institutional programmes can also connect education with employment and skill development. YCC undertakes various skill development and career-oriented projects designed to support students in developing knowledge and employment-related skills.
The organization also operates a digital employment information platform covering government job notifications, recruitment information, eligibility requirements, application procedures, examinations and results.
Affordable Education Initiative
Yuva Career Club has introduced the “One Rupee Per Day, Per Subject” education model. Under this model, digital educational facilities are offered at ₹1 per day per subject, or ₹365 for one year.
The initiative is designed to provide affordable access to digital learning, examination practice and academic guidance.
Future Expansion
Yuva Career Club has stated an objective of expanding its digital education, career guidance, employment and skill development initiatives to all states of India by 2027.
Its collaboration with colleges and educational institutions is an important component of this approach. Through institutional coordination, professional interactions, digital learning and career guidance, YCC seeks to connect students with educational resources and information about future academic and professional opportunities.
